that large shopping spree - beauty

For the past few months I've been in a shopping rush, I can't remember any time in my life when I bought so many things on a regular basis. But, well, I had some tough times recently and this was a way to cheer myself up, so I blame myself for spending enormous amount of money, but not very hard.
It happened that for the last 3-4 months I bought so much stuff that it can't fit in one blogpost, so I'll separate it into three different ones - beauty, clothes and accessories. This one will be all about beauty and makeup I've bought.


Lush "No Drought" dry shampoo and "Snow Fairy" shower gel. Shampoo is not very comfortable to use because of the packaging, I end up with some on my floor, but it works okay and smells deliciousy-grapefruit, and "Snow Fairy" is super-cute glitter shower gel which smells like bubble-gum.


Well...things gone crazy in Victoria's Secret. I think for the next five years I am stocked with body cremes and shower gels. But how can anyone resist their awesome stuff?


"Grease Lightning" spot treatment and "Santa Baby" lip tint from Lush. "Santa Baby" smells like coca-cola, but it's super-red, all my hands are red after using it...


My recent make-up revelation - Catrice! I've been loving it a lot, at once I bought some of their "Liquid Metal" eyeshadows, "Nude" eyeshadow palette, "Pure Shine" colour lip balm and "Ultimate Colour" lipstick.




I've been obsessed with Lush bath bombs recently, they are amazing for a relaxing baths, which I take once in a week as a ritual.


"Stay Matte" face powder from Rimmel and some deep cleansing stripes from Cettua.


"Aquatic Aqua" deep moisture eye gell and "Beauty Base" primer from Lumene and eyebrow pensil from Rimmel.


"Master Precise" eyeliner from Maybelline and "Liquid Lip Tint" from Catrice. Lip tint appeared to be a really special thing, I'll make a separate post about it later.

my favorite feet cream - beauty advice

I find it extremely useful to listen to other bloggers' advices - you can never try that much products by yourself to make your own opinion, but there are people who make it for you (and have lots of fun, actually). We are all a society here, where good experience can be shared, so I would like to introduce you my all-time favorite feet cream which became a true rescue for me.


It is Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue by The Body Shop. This is my second pot so far, and I rarely by products twice or more times, because I like to try different things, so I really loved this cream enough to by another one.


It works exactly how I want a perfect feet cream to work - super-moisturizing and caring, it totally saves my feet, especially in winter when they tend to be dry, but also in summer when open shoes damage your skin much more.


On The Body Shop's website it costs 9 pounds, which I'd say too much for a feet cream, but one pot lasted me for about half a year, so it won't be too bad for your finances to by it once in six months, and it is just so good - worth every penny.

some new makeup stuff

Small beauty haul I made recently. Probably, I would never dedicate a special post for such a thing, but the photo looks so nice! While it's summer, I definetely have to make more photos outside.

Here we have:

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipliner in Clear - I were searching for transparent lip pencil for a while, it's such a handy thing, you can use it with lipglosses or lipsticks of any color. No bleeding, helps to keep a lipstick on your lips, there's no danger that you'll make a wrong line and will have to start from the beginning (it's transparent, hey!). I also use it with coloured lipliner to keep this in place.

Catrice Lip Appeal Lip Gloss - in perfect nude shade. Lipgloss is fine, nothing spectacular but it's okay, I keep it in my "to-go" makeup bag.

Daily Wants Cuticle Balm - nice thing, I like it. Good for cuticle moisturising, smells good and not oily, so it doesn't leave spots on your clothes.

I would like to introduce my first beauty-product review of Essence Volumizing Lash Powder. I found it accidentally, it was something I've never tried before, so decided to buy one.

Хочу представить вам мой первый обзор beauty-продукта - пудры для ресниц Eccense Volumizing Lash Powder. Наткнулась на нее случайно в магазине и не смогла не попробовать - такое я увидела впервые.





Package includes powder itself, brush and instruction. It says you should apply one layer of mascara, than powder and seal it with one more layer of mascara.

В комплекте идут баночка с пудрой, кисть для ресниц и инструкция. Согласно последней, нужно нанести один слой туши, пока она не высохла, нанести пудру и закрепить сверху еще одним слоем туши.


To be honest, my feeling about this powder are mixed. I'd say yes, it works, but I definetely expected something more.

Если честно, чувства по поводу эффективности этой пудры у меня смешанные. Она вроде и работает, но наверное я ожидала гораздо более сильного эффекта, хотя сравнивать в общем-то и не с чем.


One way or another, the idea is funny, I don't regret spent money. What do you think? Have you tried Essence Volumizing Lash Powder and what were the results?

what's with me

I always like to see posts like that - what do people carry in their bags, in their make up bags and etc. So I decided to make a "what's in my make up bag" post, and today it will be double edition, cause when I made this post I still didn't unpack my "travel" bag, so I'll show you both!

Everyday make-up bag





I got this make-up bag in Germany when my previous one got a hole. Everyday I carry with myself face blotting tissues, lipsticks and lipbalms (this vary depending on what I need at the moment), handcream (I will die without it), plasters and Compeed Anti-Blister Stick, some medicines, looking glass, bag hanger, nail file, USB-stick (or I will lose it), mascara tester, tweezers.

Travel make-up bag





This one is actually my Mom's (I believe it's Clinique). She isn't really happy that I use it, but it is very handy :) I have two small bags, one with jewellery and another one with hair stuff - hair clips and hair pins, foundation and base, favourite red lipstick and lip pencil, lipgloss, nail file and stick, blush, eyeshadow set and brush, black eye pencil, mascara and anti-spot stick.

guess what?!

Guess what did I buy just before New Year? Sometimes I get bored with my hair... and I have to change something. Dramatically. As far as I've already cut my hair rather short, this time I decided to try to change my haircolor, and bought some red henna from Lush!

I've always been scared of colouring hair cause you may choose something slightly wrong and damage your hair, or you won't like the result but you can't change something... I don't know what about you, but I'm not into such a risk.

So henna, called "Caca Rouge" appeared to be the best option for me. It contains a lot of oils inside, so it doesn't damage your hair, it has a good inctruction, and I loved the result! My hair is not that bright as on photos, it's because of flashing, but it has a nice red shade! I have some more henna for two colorings and yes, I'm gonna do it again!


Comes in a bar like chocolate. A lot of people were complaining about the smell (I've read some feedback). But I like that grassy-oily smell of henna.

Looks...not very nice :)
